Wavey Lines – Live Drawing Special

November 7 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Free
Wavey Lines and photographer Andrew Jackson bring you a free opportunity to engage in an experiment about looking, seeing and knowing.
As you draw the sitter before you we want you to ask yourself – do portraits truly reveal the person before us or only what we want to see?
In this recorded session, artist and musician Juice Aleem interviews Candy Guddup, about her migration story, about what belonging means to her and where home is as you make drawn studies of her.
This event forms part of an Arts Council funded project entitled From Whence We Came by photographer Andrew Jackson and with your permission and consent he would like to collaborate with you to incorporate your drawings into this project.
