“Cultureword’s National Black and Asian Writers Conference has been running for over 30 years. This conference, the 9th one of its kind, will take place on October 13th, 2018.
This year’s Conference features a zine festival and includes panels, stalls, performances, interviews, and conversation.”
At this years conference, Florence Okoye and Juice Aleem will be letting the world know how it has been to speak and bring Afrofuturist principles into existence through AfroFlux and it’s mini-comic-con offspring the Fluxcon.
Charlotte Bailey of Laydeez Do Comics will also be on along for the ride explaining her journey in zine making and distribution.
